    Oh, wow. That’s really cool.

AlmostBoyfriend isn’t going to like it that I have another place to add to our “places we should go” list.

I used to park across the street from that gallery when I worked in Baltimore. (If it’s the one I’m thinking it is.) Great place to park because of the walk from car to work, but my vehicle was looted/vandalized in daylight.

Have you been to see this in person?

Yup. I used to live in DC, and one of the last field trips I took in that area was to this museum. It was pretty cool, very surreal. Definitely a place to visit.

So I visited the website, thanks for the link, and confirmed my suspicion.
This is exciting to me, remembering this gallery and my walk to work around the inner harbor.

I did visit the gallery (or museum, whatever) once. It must have been this exhibit: http://www.avam.org/exhibitions/love.html

And I remember thinking that many of the artists of that exhibit were angry and/or disturbed. To the point I thought I asked and found they were part of a mental health recovery program. But all this could very well be imagination, revision, or some mix thereof. It’s been a while, and my perception at the time could have been skewed by a girlfriend whom did not care for the exhibit one bit.

Nearby, for a summer, there was a piece of parkland where city organizations were invited to build Baltimore-themed miniature golf holes. Really cool corner of the city, that.

I lived in DC for a few years and I look forward to your blog potentially stimulating more memories. Thanks.
