Hello there, and huge props on your awesome VOTW series. Crossing my fingers that Aerosmith's "Crying" might make it into a future post. I totally got a belly ring because of that video. Monkey see, monkey pierce. Oh, the joys and pains of coming up as a child of the 90s....

Hidden tracks? Yup, I think they still do -- I see them as a bonus for the people [like me] who are still buying CDs.

Anyway. I might have to think about that 'what song would you sing' thing. The first thing that pops into my head is Mandy Moore's "Candy", which is only slightly embarassing.

And this song? Totally screwed up the "literary device" portion of English class for a whole generation of kids. Love it.

Another great VOTW entry. Towards the end of my freshman year of college, I went to Sam Goody, when there was still a location on Forbes Ave, and bought three CDs that sum up the year: Jagged Little Pill, DMB Under the Table and Dreaming, and the current Rusted Root, not sure of the album title. Two of the three had hidden tracks. That lovely a capella version of "Your House" from Alanis & #34 from Dave Matthews. Does anyone still do that?
