[pause while he thinks] Goo... something?" Turns out my dad works with a guy whose son plays with the Goo Goo Dolls on tour. I was all "gasp! no way!" when he told me. It'd be a much more impressive story, I know, if it was me who actually knew the guy, but whatever. :) My dad came home from work one day a couple of weeks ago and asked me “Hey, do you know a band called… [pause while he thinks] Goo… something?”

I wouldn't say this song makes me happy, but it is pretty, in a melancholy sort of way. And in the Goo Goo Dolls vs. Gin Blossoms debate, I'm more of a Gin Blossoms kinda gal.
