About Me

I’m Christina. I’m a writer.

My Confirmation name is Diana. I told the nuns this was in honor of Blessed Diana, a martyr of the early Church, but really it was for Diana, goddess of the moon and the hunt in Roman mythology.

Favorite foods include green olives, Nutella, potatoes, my mom’s macaroni and cheese, cheesy broccoli pizza with pesto sauce, meatballs, hushpuppies, and curé nantais.

After college, I lived in DC for two years and frigging hated it. Now I’m back in Pittsburgh and more in love with it than ever before.

When I was growing up, I was steadfastly convinced that I wasn’t going to live past the age of twenty.

I really wish there was a gender-neutral third person singular pronoun in the English language.

I try to read at least two articles in Le Monde daily.

I ain’t a beauty but hey I’m all right.

I’d be really surprised if there exists a cheesy 1990s pop song that I don’t love. Particularly if its music video involves guys dancing on or with chairs.
